Soil health company Earth Alive Clean Technologies (EAC) has received a purchase order worth US$500,000, or approximately C$637,622.

The purchase order is for the company’s proprietary EA1 dust suppressant product, a microbial, environmentally safe alternative to haul road dust suppression. By preventing dust from becoming airborne, EA1 can reduce dust particulates on mine sites by up to 90 per cent.

The organic and biodegradable product also removes the need to apply water as a dust suppressant for up to two weeks, thereby reducing water consumption by over 90 per cent.

Earth Alive received the purchase order from a leading global mining company. This marks the third purchase order for EA1 that this customer has made for its mine, located in Mexico.

Earth Alive’s dust suppressant product seems to be in particularly high demand in South America countries. This year, the company announced several trials of its EA1 dust suppressant at mining operations in countries including Brazil and Chile.

Earth Alive’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Warren, commented on the progress that the company has made in growing its dust suppressant business.

“We are very pleased with the progression of our relationship with this important client over the last two years,” he said.

“We are confident that our EA1 dust suppressant will continue to attract attention globally as evidenced by the fact that this year alone, seven major ea1 successful tests were conducted at various mining sites around the globe,” he added.

The company expects to ship the EA1 dust suppressant order by the end of the first quarter.

Earth Alive Clean Technologies remains unchanged and is trading for ten cents per share at 10:25am EST.
