Zonetail (ZONE) has signed an integration agreement with Yardi Canada, North America’s largest property management software provider.

The integration is for the company’s new mobile residential platform, Zonetail Residential, which has almost finished beta testing. Under this agreement, Zonetail’s development team will begin working on integrating Yardi’s Voyager Property Management software.

Through the combination of the two solutions, Zonetail will have access to a far greater market. Thousands of condominium and apartment buildings in Canada currently use Yardi’s Voyager software, and will see the appeal in Zonetail’s unique offerings.

In particular, the company provides connectivity between not only property management and residents, but also local businesses.

In addition to expanding Zonetail’s reach in Canada, the integration will help to launch its residential platform in the United States. Furthermore, it may enable the launch of the company’s third vertical, which is rental apartments.

Zonetail’s CEO, Mark Holmes, called this agreement a gamechanger and arguably the most significant signing the company has had to date.

“Over the past few years, Zonetail has received several inquiries from property management corporations across Canada and the US that use Yardi Voyager and have also wanted to utilise our unique residential platform, but we were not able to provide it,” he said.

“The integration with Yardi allows all of this and much more to happen,” he added.

The company has estimated that the initial integration with Yardi Voyager could be completed by 2021’s first quarter.

Zonetail is up 50 per cent and is trading for 7.5 cents per share, as of 9:52am EST.
