Yorbeau Resources (YRB) has discovered a new lens of copper and zinc west of the Gwillim fault on its Scott Lake property.

The discovery was made during the exploration program initiated in late August 2022 on its property near Chibougamau, Quebec.

A well mineralized 6.6 metres zone of sulphide rich in chalcopyrite (copper) and sphalerite (zinc) centred at a vertical depth of about 925 metres was found by the team.

Three holes have been drilled on the property during the ongoing program, totalling 2,615 metres.

The sulphide zone has so far been intersected by two drill holes, about 60 metres apart, and a third is being executed.

This zone of sulphide coincides with a modelled electromagnetic conductor 150 by 150 metres, 300 metres west of the Scott Lake deposit.

The average thickness of this zone is not yet known.

The current drilling is now targeting the centre of the conductor in order to determine the potential size of the lens.

Yorbeau Resources Inc. is involved in the exploration of mineral properties in the Province of Quebec.

Yorbeau (YRB) is up 9.09 per cent, trading at C$0.06 per share as of 10:40 am ET.
