Vitreous Glass (VCI) has declared a cash dividend of $0.08 per common share.

The shares are to be paid on May 13 to the shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 29, 2022.

Although this is a special dividend, depending on the results of business, the corporation hopes to be able to continue to pay dividends on a regular basis.

The dividend is considered an “eligible dividend” for tax purposes.

Vitreous Glass had approximately 6,283,667 common shares issued and outstanding as of April 18, 2022.

Vitreous Glass Inc. owns and operates a waste glass processing plant in Airdrie, Alberta.

Opened in 1995 and employing 10 people, Vitreous Glass Inc. accepts deposit system beverage container glass from Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Vitreous Glass Inc cleans, crushes, and sells waste glass to the fiberglass manufacturing industry. 

Shares of Vitreous Glass Inc. (VCI) are unchanged, trading at $5.11 at 2:30 pm ET.
