Synopsis, a subsidiary of VitalHub (VHI), has been named “Technology Company of the Year” at the British Data Awards.

The British Data Awards is an annual campaign that sets out to uncover data success stories.

VitalHub’s entry into the awards centred around how Synopsis uses data to improve the pre-operative assessment pathway.
The award-winning Synopsis platform enables hospitals to manage the entire pre-operative assessment process digitally, removing paper trails, increasing data security, and delivering significant organizational benefits.
Used by the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom, Synopsis has been used to complete over 120,000 patient pre-operative assessments, generating savings by reducing last-minute surgery cancellations, releasing nursing time back to the departments, and increasing patient satisfaction across the surgical pathway.
Dan Matlow, CEO of VitalHub, commented,

“This award is a demonstration of the applicability of the Synopsis product to in current healthcare landscape, wherein it has become more vital than ever to optimize the operational efficacy and efficiency of health systems. We look forward to continuing to grow our influence in delivering value-added services to our customers.”

The company launched Synopsis Home last year, which enables patients to fill out pre-operative assessments at home to be shared with the hospital team.
This functionality has been very important in supporting the new infection prevention measures that were introduced in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Intouch with Health, another subsidiary of VitalHub whose platform supports over 110 NHS hospitals in communication and information management, was also a runner-up for an award as “Healthcare Organisation of the Year.”
VitalHub develops technology solutions for health and human services providers in the mental health, long-term care, community health service, home health, social service, and acute care sectors.
VitalHub Corp. (VHI) opened trading at $2.95 per share.
