TRU Precious Metals (TRU) has provided an update on its summer 2021 exploration program in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.

Golden Rose Project

The company is continuing with its program of soil sampling, till sampling, geological mapping and prospecting as the project becomes its exploration focus for the rest of the summer.

The company has submitted almost 2,000 field samples for geochemical analysis with results pending over the next 6-8 weeks.

An airborne geophysical survey over recently acquired portions of the project will begin in early August.

GoldSpot Discoveries has made its preliminary target presentation to the company as it completes geological modelling of the South Woods Lake Gold Zone.

TRU is also applying for permitting and securing a drilling contractor for its 5,000 m drill program at the project expected to begin in October 2021. The program will focus on infilling and expanding the gold mineralized felsic intrusive at the SWL Gold Zone and will also target claims containing visible gold grains and a nearby gossan.

Twilite Gold Project

TRU has completed its 2,577 m phase 1 drilling program at the project focused on the Fort Knox Gold Zone. Sample results are expected over the next six weeks.

Early-stage properties

TRU has received all rock and soil geochemical results from the Gander West Property with results still outstanding from nine till samples submitted for gold grain analysis. The best result from rock sampling was 395 ppb gold. The best results from 118 soil samples were 52 ppb and 31 ppb gold.

TRU also completed a property-wide targeted soil survey at its Rolling Pond Property. To date, the company has received one-quarter of its soil samples, which include 61 and 34 ppb Au. The company received all rock grab sample results but none were significant.

Additionally, TRU completed an orientation-level soil sampling and prospecting program at its Stony Lake Property. Crews collected 171 soil samples and 39 rock grab samples with results expected over the next six weeks.

TRU develops a portfolio of gold exploration properties in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.

TRU Precious Metals (TRU) is up by 4.35 per cent and is currently trading at $0.24 per share as of 3:12 pm ET.
