Trillion Energy International (TCF) has closed the first tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private placement.

The company issued 46,368,643 units priced at $0.165 per unit for gross proceeds of $7,651,000.

Units include one common share and one half of one share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share for $0.45 for a period of two years from the closing of the offering.

The warrants include an acceleration provision.

Trillion Energy International Inc. is an oil and gas producing company with multiple assets throughout Turkey and Bulgaria.
