The Alkaline Water Company (TSXV:WTER) has expanded the retail sales channels for its range of A88CBD topical products.

The company produces premium bottled alkaline water, flavour-infused waters, and CBD-infused products.

Its A88CBD brand features a wide range of topical and ingestible products. These include salves, balms, lotions, essential oils, bath-salts, CBD-infused beverages, tinctures, capsules, gummies, and powder packs.

To increase the accessibility of its CBD topical products, The Alkaline Water Company has formed a number of partnerships. Through these agreements, the products are now available in more brick-and-mortar and online locations.

Online, the CBD topicals will be available at Amazon, CBD.co, and Pure CBD’s e-commerce site, healwithnature.com.

The Alkaline Water Company’s President and CEO, Richard Wright, noted the ongoing pandemic’s impact on cannabis-related purchases.

“With CBD sales surging during COVID-19 related quarantines, we are thrilled to announce multiple new brick-and-mortar and online marketplace partnerships that expand the availability of our A88CBD portfolio of products.

“Our flagship brand Alkaline88 has seen tremendous success on Amazon already, and we expect this trend to continue as consumers enjoy our growing line of A88CBD topical products,” he said.

The topical products will be available at Vitamin Plus retail stores in Texas, and Pure CBD stores in Los Angeles.

Richard stated that establishing a brick-and-mortar presence is key to A88CBD’s growth strategy.

“With a growing online and brick and mortar presence and a healthy sales pipeline across multiple retail channels, we are well-positioned to establish A88CBD as a leading brand in the nascent CBD infused products market,” he said.

The Alkaline Water Company is down 1.54 per cent, and is trading for $1.28 per share, as of 12:53pm EDT.
