Sparta Group (SAY) has reported significant progress in key divisions in spite of COVID-19.

Sparta Health Group

Work continues with Sparta’s joint venture with Ethema Health to develop and deliver hypochlorous acid formulations appropriate for the workplace.

Hypochlorous acid is naturally produced by our white blood cells and is an important part of the human immune system.

The acid destroys viruses by forming chloramines and nitrogen-centered radicals, leading to single and double-stranded DNA breaks, which render the virus harmless.

Sparta’s health division continues to operate its streamlined procurement system for personal protective equipment, including brand-labelled material products and rapid testing systems.

Both antigen and antibody rapid tests have been received and limited quantities are available for purchase, especially for demonstration purposes.

ReECO Tech & ERS International

Sparta’s e-waste division has been inundated with inquiries from large brand electronics producers.

ReECO Tech/ERS International, Illumineris and Sparta Health are working to demonstrate how an at-work safety program, when combined with the Metrikus workplace health and building monitoring system, can keep a workplace pathogen free.

The company will be rolling out this safety program in the near future.

Illumineris

Illumineris and Sparta Health have been working closely with the Metrikus team to build local demonstration sites to educate the Canadian commercial real estate market about bringing normalcy back to a post-pandemic world.

TruckSuite

There have been significant COVID-19 issues in the TruckSuite U.S.A. offices. That said, the company has implemented its workplace safety mechanisms and business is back to normal.

TruckSuite U.S.A. and TruckSuite Canada are preparing to announce exclusive components to their TruckSuite COVID-19 Safety System.

TruckSuite Canada is also expanding its dealer network across the country with an upcoming exhibition at the Diesel Laptops Virtual Truck Repair Trade Show on May 6th and 7th, 2021.

Sparta Group owns interests in businesses that reduce energy inefficiencies, achieve reduced emissions and increase operating efficiencies.

Sparta Group (SAY) is down by 8.33 per cent and is currently trading at $0.11 per share as of 12:17 pm ET.
