The latest drill results from Southern Silver’s (SSV) Cerro Las Minitas project are from the Huizache chimney.
The Huizache chimney is within the Mina La Bocona target area, 80 metres northwest of the La Bocona and Mina Pina shafts.
Holes drilled in this area have extended the mineralized zone in the northwestern area of Mina La Bocona to depths of up to 250 metres below surface.
The newly released polymetallic intercepts from the Mina La Bocona target area include 1.4 metres averaging 383 g/t silver, 7.9 per cent lead, and 10.2 per cent zinc.
Southern Silver has now completed 56 core holes totalling 22,360 metres since drilling recommenced in September 2020.
Assay results from five drill holes are pending and are anticipated over the coming weeks.
