Solis (SLMN) has uncovered widespread copper sulphides at its Mostazal Copper Project in Chile.

The results stem from the first two holes of an initial 2,000 m diamond drilling program on the project targeting porphyry and manto-style copper mineralization.

Sulphides extend from surface down to 362 m in MODD001 and from surface down to 444m in MODD002.

Assay results are pending.

“The drill rig has now moved and commenced drilling at the third planned hole (MODD003). This drill hole is targeting the heart of the interpreted IP chargeability geophysical anomaly, which we believe may represent a feeder structure for the extensive manto-style copper mineralization found closer to surface at Mostazal and drilled in our first two holes,” stated Jason Cubitt, Solis’ CEO.

Solis Minerals is a mining exploration company with projects in Chile and Peru.

Solis (SLMN) is up by 58.82 per cent trading at $0.27 per share as of 12:38 pm EST.
