Solar Alliance (SOLR) has appointed Brian Timmons as its new Chairman.

Timmons has over 30 years of experience in senior positions across a range of industries, including fund management, investment banking (Irish Life Assurance, AIB Capital Markets PLC), health care technology, bioscience, alternative energy and resource companies, e-commerce, telecoms and software IT.

He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Timmons was appointed to Solar’s Board of Directors on September 13, 2021. He replaces Myke Clark, who continues in his roles as Director, President and CEO.

“I am really excited to accept this appointment as Chairman of Solar Alliance, a company on the cusp of sustained, dynamic growth in this rapidly growing industry,” stated Timmons. “We fully intend to realize this potential for the benefit of the company, our shareholders and the planet.”

Solar Alliance is an energy solutions provider focused on residential, commercial and industrial solar installations. Since its inception in 2003, it has developed renewable energy projects to power the equivalent of 150,000 homes.
