SkyChain Technologies (SCT) has successfully completed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement.

Under the first tranche of the offering, the company issued 198,446 units at a price of $0.78 for gross proceeds of $154,787.88.

Each unit consists of one common share and one whole non-transferable common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable for one share at an exercise price of $1.50 until January 16, 2022.

Net proceeds will be used for general and administrative expenses, working capital, and to help finance the construction of its Birtle cryptocurrency project in Birtle, Manitoba.

SkyChain will pay no finder’s fees in connection with subscriptions from subscribers introduced to this offering. The securities are subject to a statutory hold period expiring on November 17, 2021.
