Sirios Resources Inc. (SOI) recently completed its 2020 survey over the Aquilon gold property in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec.

The survey identified two clusters of anomalous gold-in-soil samples defining two distinct gold trends. Both trends are approximately 800 metres long and have been classified as high-priority targets for follow-up prospecting and trenching.

The company also reported that Geo Data Solutions completed a high-resolution helicopter-borne aeromagnetic survey last week. The survey, covering the entire property, totals approximately 1,027-line kilometers with flight lines spaced at 75-metre intervals.

This survey will help identify geophysical features and targets and will provide Sirios’ exploration team with important geophysical data to better define the geology and detailed structural patterns of the property.

The Aquilon property, which is wholly owned by Sirios, is comprised of 140 claims covering nearly 70 square kilometres. The property includes over 30 gold showings, including several very high grade showings with 560 g/t gold over 0.49 metres, 834 g/t gold over 1.71 metres and 3,230.89 g/t gold over 0.8 metres.

The two gold trends announced today are not associated with the known high-grade gold showings 400 metres to the south, expanding the company’s known resources.

Sirios Resources is a mineral exploration company with a portfolio of significant gold deposits in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec. The company is primarily focused on its Cheechoo gold discovery.

Sirios Resources Inc. (SOI) is currently down 5.88 per cent, trading at $0.08 per share as of 3:42 pm ET.
