Simply Better Brands’ (SBBC) TRUBAR has expanded its Costco footprint.

TRUBAR, by subsidiary TRUWOMEN, is a plant-based protein bar that combines dessert-inspired flavours with clean and simple ingredients.

After last year’s successful rotation in the southeast U.S., TRUBAR will return to the region this year in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Puerto Rico. It will also make select appearances in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Idaho.

Products on offer include a dual pack of “Oh Oh Cookie Dough” and “Daydreaming About Donuts” flavours or a dual pack of “Oh Oh Cookie Dough” and “Smother Fudger Peanut Butter”.

“The expanded buildings in Costco complement our broad distribution at other U.S.-based strategic retailers like Amazon, Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme and Walgreens,” said Kathy Casey, Simply Better Brands’ CEO. “As Costco is a shopper destination for snack bars, we are thrilled to see our offer outperforming the category.”
