Sienna Resources (SIE) has hired Abitibi Geophysics of Quebec to conduct an AeroVision Survey on the Marathon North Platinum-Palladium Property.
Located in Northern Ontario, the project directly borders Generation Mining’s Marathon deposit.
Sienna Resources’ President, Jason Gigliotti, said that as they are starting operations in Ontario, they are also focused on the Nevada Lithium Projects.
“We expect to be very active in Nevada in 2023 and look forward to an active period of growth in the short term on Sienna.”
The Bureau of Land Management recently gave Sienna approval for up to four additional holes to be completed on the Blue Clay Lithium Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada. The project is home to the only lithium brine basin in production in North America, in the direct vicinity of Albemarle’s Silver Peak deposit and Tesla Motors’ Gigafactory.
On March 25, 2022, Sienna revealed a new lithium discovery on the project. Lithium values as high as 1230 ppm Li were encountered. The Blue Clay Lithium Project consists of 150 contiguous claims totalling approximately 2,950 acres prospective for lithium right in the heart of the Clayton Valley in Nevada, which is currently home to the only producing lithium region in North America.
Sienna Resources explores and develops high-grade deposits in politically stable, environmentally responsible, and ethical mining jurisdictions. The company also has its recently acquired Blue Clay Lithium Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada, where the company has made an initial lithium discovery.
