ScreenPro (SCRN) has increased its COVID testing for film and TV by 300 per cent.

Its film and TV clients have requested that the company expedite its testing rotation from 72 to 24 hours effective immediately due to surging Omicron variant infections.

For the months of November and December 2021, it provided testing services to 41 production companies administering approximately 41,100 COVID tests. The companies are located in Montreal (2), Toronto (11) and Vancouver (28).

“With over 280,000 active cases reported in the three provinces and the cost to productions having to shut down, the ramp up of testing is necessary in order to ensure that all health and safety protocols are met with the proper tracking and tracing,” stated Lena Kozovski, ScreenPro’s CEO.

“The utilization of the GoStop application has been an integral component in the process,” she added, “as this system allows us to report all current and potential exposure cases.”

ScreenPro Security is a medical technology company that offers proprietary testing methods and medical alerting software.

ScreenPro (SCRN) is unchanged trading at $0.035 per share as of 10:02 am EST.
