Boosh Plant-Based Brands (VEGI) products will now be available at all 170 Save On Foods stores across Canada.

Previously, Boosh announced that its products would be available in 120 Western Canadian stores.

Save On Foods operates 170 stores in British Columbia and Alberta and is one of the major grocery retail chains in Western Canada.

The initial order from Save On Foods includes a minimum of one case per location with each case including four of Boosh’s frozen bowls. The order is still scheduled for early April 2022.

As mentioned in the previous release, customers can also purchase Boosh products at Natures Fare and Nester’s locations, which are sister companies of Save On Foods.

“The total Save On order is close to $100,000 in revenues,” said Boosh president and founder Connie Marples.

TJ Walsh, head of North American sales, added, “Boosh has done a significant amount of preparation over the past year to not only secure these larger orders, but to be prepared for these types of orders from multiple nationwide grocery chains.”

“Our goal now,” continued Ms. Marples, “is to be prepare for re-orders, and hopefully expand into the refrigerated section with our Mushroom Gravy, Chili and Sloppy Joe entrees, as well as shelf stable with our newly introduced Mac & Cheeze.”

Boosh has also announced that it will be attending the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California in March.

Expo West will provide Boosh with an opportunity for an in-person experience for product discovery, networking, and industry trend discussions. In 2019, the last time the Expo was held, there were over 88,000 people in attendance.

Boosh is a plant-based food company that sells plant-based frozen meals to grocery outlets and independent grocery stores throughout Canada.

The company currently offers 24 plant-based products, including frozen meals, refrigerated entrees, and shelf-stable Mac & Cheezes, that are sold throughout Canada.

Shares in Boosh Plant-Based Brands (VEGI) are steady, trading at $0.46 per share as of 12:16 pm EST.
