  • Satori Resources (BUD) has appointed two new senior members to its Tartan Lake gold mine exploration team
  • The company appointed Doug Flegg the board of directors, a 30-year veteran of the mining industry with experience in both geology and mining capital markets
  • Satori also appointed Wes Hanson to Tartan Lake’s newly formed advisory board
  • Previously, Wes was the chief geologist at the Tartan Lake gold mine, when it produced gold in the 1980’s
  • Satori Resources (BUD) is currently in a trading halt and is last traded at C$0.08 per share 

Satori Resources (BUD) has appointed Wes Hanson and Doug Flegg to its management team at the Tartan Lake Gold project in Manitoba.

Doug will join the company as an additional board member, while Wes has been appointed as the first and primary member of a newly formed advisory committee.

Previously, Doug Flegg has worked as the Managing Director of Global Mining Sales for BMO Capital markets and has three decades of experience in mining finance, along with technical geological experience.

Doug has 20 years of work in mining-related capital markets, something he moved into after starting his career as an exploration geologist.

Wes Hanson worked at Tartan Lake as its Chief Geologist back when the site produced gold in the 1980’s.  Wes has been involved in the engineering, construction and commission of a bevy of mining projects both around the Tartan Lake gold mine and across and around the world. 

Jennifer Boyle, CEO of Satori Resources, said, this will be a third time that Wes Hanson has come back to be involved with the Tartan Lake Gold Mine project.

“His repeat involvement with the project, particularly in this gold environment, will per instrumental in advising Satori on several aspects key to the analyses of future developments considerations,” he said. 

Satori Resources (BUD) is in a trading halt, with shares last trading at C$0.08 per share
