Sanatana Resources (STA) has received final drilling permits for its Gold Rush Project in Timmins, Ontario.

The company signed a contract with G4 Drilling Canada to begin work on a drill program at the site.

The 3,000-metre drilling program on the Gold Rush project will target eight different areas of the property identified in previous work as prospective for gold mineralization.

The drilling program will begin immediately.

“After delays due to COVID, we are pleased to begin our initial drill program at the Gold Rush project. We look forward to reporting results once we have them in hand,” said Sanatana Resources CEO Peter Miles.

The company released assay results from the Gold Rush Project on March 15, 2021. Those results were from a drilling operation in October, 2020 and show further exploration is warranted. The work also uncovered “two gold-bearing zones at the North Shaft prospect, according to the company.

Sanatana Resources is a mineral exploration and development company based in Vancouver and focused on high-impact properties in Canada and the Western Pacific.

Sanatana Resources is unchanged on the day, with shares of the company trading at C$0.16 at 11:23 am ET.
