Romios Gold (RG) has begun its 2022 exploration field program on three of its projects in the underexplored North Caribou Lake Greenstone Belt (NCLGB) in northwestern Ontario.

North Caribou River claims will see soil sampling and mapping over remaining targets to define the best targets for trenching and possibly drill testing.

Romios’ upcoming geological mapping and prospecting work will be the first concerted effort to explore the large The Markop Lake Project area adjacent to a giant gold deposit for Timiskaming type mineralization.

A program of basic geological mapping, lithogeochemical sampling and soil sampling is planned to evaluate the potential of Arseno Lake to determine if ground geophysics and/or drilling are warranted.

Romios Gold has more than 400 square kilometres of claims in the Golden Triangle which include 3 significant Cu-Au porphyry prospects that are adjacent to Teck-Newmont’s Galore Creek project.
