Boosh Plant-Based Brands (VEGI) has received an order from Save On Foods for four of its frozen bowls.

Save On Foods operates 170 stores in British Columbia and Alberta and is one of the major grocery retail chains in Western Canada.

The Canadian grocer has ordered Boosh’s Veggie Bolognese, Coconut Curry Cauli, Mac & Cheese & Peas, and Mexican Fiesta Bowl. The order will be delivered in April to a minimum of 120 stores in Western Canada.

“The Save On Foods order is a significant milestone as we rapidly expand the Boosh brand throughout Canada and the US,” remarked Boosh founder and president Connie Marples. “This order now places Boosh in over 600 stores throughout Canada and growing.”

“I firmly believe,” added Ms. Marples, “[that] we’re on track to be selling Boosh in over 1,000 grocery stores in Canada by year end.”

Customers can also purchase Boosh products at Natures Fare and Nester’s locations, which are sister companies of Save On Foods.

“This is a huge win and catalyst for Boosh,” said TJ Walch, head of North American sales. “Orders like these are truly a testament that Boosh has the right plant-based products and innovation retailers, especially sophisticated retailers like Save On Foods, are searching for.”
