Reklaim Inc. (MYID) has partnered with data cloud company Snowflake to offer two data sets on Snowflake Marketplace.

Reklaim lets consumers manage and control their consumer data, with the ability to monetize their personal information and sell it directly to brands and organizations

One data set will be made up of individual consumers who have explicitly opted-in to share their sensitive personal information data for marketing purposes. Another ‘Do-Not-Sell’ data set will be for consumers who have opted out of having their data sold.

Reklaim’s data on Snowflake Marketplace will allow customers to remove consumers who have stated that they do not want their data to be sold while also providing an option for brands to include consumers who are open to their sensitive personal data being used.

The sets will be powered by cross-cloud technology, Snowgrid, to allow companies direct access to raw data products, services, and applications.

This partnership was related to the recently amended California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which is already in effect to protect the interests of California residents and enforce privacy protection laws.

Neil Sweeney, CEO of Reklaim, commented,

“With the enforcement period of CCPA beginning in January of 2023, offering consumer consent for SPI data and do-not-sell signals to companies looking to ensure their data remains compliant is a gap in the U.S. data market.”

Reklaim Inc. (MYID) is unchanged, trading at $0.02 per share as of 1:34 p.m. EST.
