Red Light Holland (CSE:TRIP) is launching a weekly podcast about developments in the emerging psychedelics industry.

The podcast is called the High Times Psychedelic Podcast, and will feature the company’s frequent collaborator, High Times.

High Times is a monthly magazine which has been in print since 1974, advocating for the legalisation of cannabis. It is now also a website which provides news, education, networking, and other media surrounding the cannabis industry.

Red Light Holland’s focus is on entering the recreational psychedelics market, which is legal in the Netherlands. The company hopes to produce, grow, and sell a brand of magic truffles through brick-and-mortar Smart Shops and an e-commerce platform.

The company’s High Times Psychedelic Podcast will provide a space for exploring and discussing numerous topics within the psychedelics industry. It will feature interviews with pioneers and advocates in the sector, as well as major celebrities who support its legalisation.

Red Light Holland’s CEO, Todd Shapiro, will host the weekly podcast himself. Todd has over two decades of experience as a radio show host, making him the perfect fit for the job.

Todd commented on the launch of the podcast.

“The opportunity to work with High Times is one that I am very grateful for.

“The podcast presents a perfect opportunity to balance a beloved passion of mine, broadcasting, while at the same time focusing on the growth and development of the psychedelic industry.

“I see it as an avenue to further promote connectivity and togetherness, as well as awareness of the psychedelics space at large, all with some light-hearted fun and laughs,” he said.

The podcast will launch on June 1, 2020, and will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and TalkShoe networks.

Red Light Holland (TRIP) is up 17.14 per cent and trading at C$0.20 per share at 10:17am EDT.
