Vicinity Motor (VMC) has partnered with Proterra to power its electric transit buses and work trucks.
Under the multi-year supply agreement, Proterra battery systems will support the Vicinity Lightning 28-foot electric transit bus, which begins production in Q3 2022, as well as Vicinity utility trucks, shuttle buses and box trucks.
Proterra will supply battery systems for a minimum of 600 Vicinity commercial electric vehicles through 2024.
