Playground Ventures (PLAY) has closed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement.

A total of 4,938,214 units were offered at a price of $0.35 for gross proceeds of $1,728,374.

Each unit is comprised of one common share and one-half of one purchase warrant.

Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one share at a price of $0.70 for a period of eighteen months.

The company paid a cash commission of $56,147.70, equal to 7% of the gross proceeds of the offering in finder’s fees.

Proceeds from the offering will be used for general working capital purposes.

All securities issued will be subject to a hold period of four months plus a day from the date of issuance.
