Peak Fintech (PKK) will collaborate with Ping An Insurance to offer auto insurance policies through its Heartbeat Platform.

Ping An is China’s largest insurance company as well as the largest insurer in the Asia-Pacific region. It also offers financial services, including banking and asset management, and has been a pioneer in the development of smart cities across China. The company is consistently ranked as the world’s top insurance brand.

Peak’s platform – which is connected to over 300 car dealerships throughout China – seeks to gain a foothold in the country’s auto insurance market, whose fleet of 297 million vehicles is the most of any country in the world.

Investors should take note that Peak Fintech Group will change its name to Tenet Fintech Group as of November 1, 2021.

The company’s ticker symbol on the Canadian Securities Exchange will continue as PKK.

Peak Fintech Group offers a suite of services in China’s commercial lending industry.

Peak Fintech (PKK) is down by 0.46 per cent and is currently trading at $10.85 per share as of 11:10 am ET.
