Patriot One (PAT) will provide security screening technology for two venues in Kentucky.

The company will deploy its SmartGateway solution to secure the entrances of Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House, which are part of the Central Bank Center in the city of Lexington.

SmartGateway uses AI-powered sensors to unobtrusively scan for guns, knives and other prohibited items.

Rupp Arena is home to the University of Kentucky Wildcats and can seat over 20,000, while the Lexington Opera House hosts touring Broadway shows, concerts and more with a capacity of 900.

Both venues are managed by the Oak View Group’s OVG360 division, which operates more than 330 entertainment venues across the U.S.

“SmartGateway is a perfect fit for the Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House, and we’re honored to implement our solution into two of the hundreds of stadiums and venues within the OVG360 family,” said Peter Evans, CEO of Patriot One.

“In this age of security personnel shortages and social unrest, physical security and weapons detection are more important than ever,” he added.

Patriot One Technologies develops unobtrusive AI-driven weapons and threat detection systems.

Patriot One (PAT) is up by 9.89 per cent trading at $0.50 per share as of 9:46 am EST.
