Patriot One Technologies Inc. (PAT) has announced the release of Alert Center, a remote access solution for the company’s PATSCAN product.

Alert Center allows users to receive and deliver security alerts from its mobile application, extending the functionality and flexibility of the PATSCAN portfolio.

PATSCAN is a weapons and threat detection platform that uses sensors and artificial intelligence to scan for guns and other weapons at building entry points.

Peter Evans, Patriot One CEO, commented on the new remote solution.

“Alert Center operationalizes our AI detection technology by automatically alerting and informing guards on a mobile app when issues are detected,” he said.

“Alert Center provides flexibility for security organizations to design alerting functions that optimize security staffing and response time,” he added. “It also extends beyond alerting solely at the venue entrance, allowing sharing of critical information and intelligence across key security staff and stakeholders, wherever they are.”

The application sends an alert to guards, indicating the reason for the alert and an image of the issue. Guards also have the option to view real-time video for optimal situation management.

In addition to weapons and threat detection, the system can be used for other operations, such as monitoring and identifying long lines at concession stands, spills in hallways, and more.

“In a time of chronic security staff shortages, Alert Center digitally empowers security staff members so they can be in the right place at the right time at all times,” Mr. Evans added.

Patriot One Technologies is a Canadian security systems developer. The company makes unobtrusive, artificial intelligence-driven weapons and threat detection systems.

Patriot One Technologies Inc. (PAT) is up 2.06 per cent, trading at $0.495 per share as of 10:43 am ET.
