Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (PMET) has found a significant lithium cluster during its surface exploration program at the Corvette Property.

The company stated the new CV13 lithium cluster is defined by two contiguous trends, totalling approximately 2.3 kilometres, and is depicted by 31 spodumene-bearing outcrops. Most outcrops were reported with less than 5.00 per cent visually estimated modal spodumene content.

Patriot stated assay results have been returned for the first sampling series, grading an average of 0.98 per cent lithium oxide to a maximum of 3.73 per cent. Grades of tantalum average 113 parts per million with a maximum of 948 parts per million.

Assays from additional samples remain pending, as well as assays for a total of 121.1 m of channel sampling completed to provide a better estimate of grade potential and coverage across the outcrops.

The company believes the location of this new lithium pegmatite discovery is very significant. Surrounding areas have very poor outcrop exposure due to glacial till cover, making it possible for another lithium pegmatite to exist underneath.

Additionally, the CV13 pegmatites are in an area of interest along the CV Lithium Trend as it hosts a favourable environment for lithium pegmatites with strong potential for increased mineralization width.

Patriot also reported surface geological mapping of the CV8 and CV9 lithium pegmatites has resulted in the discovery of additional lithium pegmatites nearby other discovered outcrops. Neither of these lithium pegmatites has been drill tested, with assays for grab and channels samples from the 2022 surface program pending.

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (PMET) is up 7.36 per cent trading at $4.23 per share as of 3:08 p.m. ET.
