Oculus VisionTech (OVT) has announced the closing of a non-brokered private placement.

The private placement was financed by the sale of 4,900,000 units for a total of US$3,087,000 in gross proceeds.

Oculus intends to use the proceeds of the offering for the sale and marketing of its Forget-Me-Yes platform. Forget-Me-Yes is a B2B data privacy SaaS platform that optimizes regulatory compliance legislation for salesforce organizations worldwide.

Oculus VisionTech is a development-stage technology company focused on cybersecurity and data privacy compliance solutions for enterprise business customers.

With offices in San Diego and Vancouver, the company is currently expanding its new ComplyTrust product suite which includes the ComplyScan cloud backup reporting tool and Forget-Me-Yes B2B data privacy platform.

Oculus VisionTech (OVT) is up 4.55 per cent and is trading at C$0.92 per share as of 1:18 pm ET.
