Patriot One (PAT) will provide patron screening at venues under the Oak View Group banner.

This includes all owned and operated venues, OVG360-managed venues and OVG Arena Alliance members.

Oak View is a global venue development, advisory and investment company for the sports and live entertainment industry. Its venues include the Climate Pledge Arena at Seattle Center, UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, and Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Oak View properties will be equipped with Patriot One’s SmartGateway system to enhance customer safety and expedite the entry process.

SmartGateway scans customers upon entry for guns, knives and other potential weapons without the need to remove personal items from pockets. The system enables entry up to 10 times faster than existing solutions.

“Our guests are not just simply entering a venue to attend an event,” stated Tim Leiweke, Oak View’s Chairman and CEO, “they are expecting an engaging, memorable and compelling experience, and that starts with their entry.”

“This partnership is the culmination of work we’ve already done with Oak View Group, in new and existing venues and at many events,” added Peter Evans, Patriot One’s CEO.

Prior to the new partnership, SmartGateway was already in use at the Moody Center and Oak View’s Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

Patriot One Technologies makes unobtrusive, AI-driven weapons- and threat-detection systems.

Patriot One (PAT) is up by 7.5 per cent, trading at $0.43 per share as of 1:04 pm EST.
