Northfield Capital Corporation (NFD.A) has acquired 249,000 common shares of Nighthawk Gold Corp.

That acquisition represents approximately 0.29 per cent of all issued and outstanding common shares of Nighthawk Gold.

Before the transaction, Northfield Capital held an aggregate of 14,246,142 common shares of the Nighthawk Gold and convertible securities. This entitled Northfield to acquire an additional 460,000 common shares of the company, representing approximately 16.44 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares of Nighthawk.

With the completion of the transaction, Northfield now owns and controls an aggregate of 14,495,142 common shares of Nighthawk and 460,000 convertible securities, representing approximately 16.73 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares of Nighthawk as of March 28, 2022.

Before the transaction, Northfield and its joint actors held an aggregate of 14,478,123 common shares of Nighthawk and convertible securities, entitling them to acquire an additional 510,000 common shares.

The total amount paid for the shares was $216,319, calculated as an aggregate of 249,000 shares acquired at a purchase price of $0.87 per common share.

Northfield Capital Corporation (NFD.A) opened trading at $37.30.
