Nortec Minerals (NVT) has commenced drilling at the Kietyönmäki Lithium Project in Finland, for which United Lithium is the project operator.

Diamond drilling started back in September 2022 and consisted of a 10-hole program.

The program is designed to confirm the current geological knowledge of the project.

The program aims to provide sufficient information to model a mineralized body exceeding 500,000 tonnes with grades more excellent than 1 per cent Li2O.

A bedrock surface sampling program of 250 sample points will also be conducted.

As for an expansion of the project, there is an additional 535 hectares which have been added to the Kietyönmäki Lithium project.

The current land area comes to 900 hectares

Nortec is a mineral exploration company with 100 percent interest in two exploration-stage critical minerals (zinc) projects.

The company holds a 16.4 per cent interest in the Tammela Gold and Tammela Lithium projects in Southwest Finland.

Nortec Minerals (NVT)  is trading at C$0.035 at 12:02 pm EST as of January 4.
