Nextleaf (OILS) is commercializing its patented technology to produce THC-free Broad Spectrum CBD distillate from industrial hemp feedstock.

The company recently produced THC-Free CBD and has validated its hemp extraction and manufacturing process through third-party analytical testing.

The company can use new technology to further refine the CBD distillate below the defined threshold of less than 0.3 per cent THC under the Cannabis Act’s definition of a pure CBD product.

Nextleaf Co-Founder and CEO Paul Pedersen stated that this technology to remove the THC will get the tax out of CBD oils.

“Adding THC-Free CBD ingredients to our portfolio is further validation of our team’s ability to innovate and will help unlock mass market CBD therapeutic products.”

The company expects to announce more details in the coming weeks on the launch of its first THC-Free CBD product.

Nextleaf is a federally regulated manufacturer and distributor of cannabis vapes and oils under its prohibition-era brand, Glacial Gold.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd. (OILS) is up 7.14 per cent trading at $0.15 as of 9:45 am ET.
