New Age Metals Inc. (NAM) has provided an update on its pre-feasibility study of the River Valley Palladium Project near Sudbury, Ontario.

New Age Metals is a junior mineral exploration, and development company focused on green metal projects in North America.

The company decided to delay the release of the study to confirm and optimize critical project options and to develop a more indicative value for the River Valley Project.

Project options under review included increased underground mining, mine plan and mineral processing enhancements, tailings management alternatives, and converting and extending mineral resources, which may offer additional flexibility and potential for better economics.

In addition, the company stated current price volatility due to inflation and economic uncertainty has made it difficult to obtain suitable long-term cost quotes for site equipment and infrastructure systems from potential vendors.

An update on when the study is anticipated to be completed will be provided before the end of its first quarter in 2023.

New Age Metals Inc. (NAM) is unchanged, trading at $0.06 per share as of 2:59 p.m. ET.
