MustGrow (MGRO) and Sumitomo have expanded their biopesticide program following positive US field trials.

Together they are expanding into multiple countries and new crop categories.

Sumitomo conducted field trials of MustGrow’s mustard plant-derived biopesticide technology. Efficacy was comparable to leading synthetic chemical standards.

Sumitomo is preparing to commercialize the mustard-derived biopesticide in Colombia. Sumitiomo will also expand development work in Mexico, Peru, and Chile of MustGrow’s technology.

The companies are commencing regulatory approval processes in multiple countries across South and Central America in addition to the ongoing US Environmental Protection Agency approval process.
