Moneta Gold (ME) shared the assay results from seven resource infill and step-out drill holes on the Windjammer Central gold deposit.

The seven holes at the Tower Gold Project in Ontario all intersected gold mineralization with low to average grades recorded.

The work was done as a part of the expanded 160,000 metres infill, and resource upgrade drill program following the recently completed 4.5 million ounces of indicated gold and 8.3 million ounces of gold inferred mineral resource estimate.

Gary O’Connor, Moneta’s President and CEO, commented,

“These results support significant gold grades across wide widths of continuous gold mineralization within the economic open pit mineral resources at Windjammer Central as defined in the recent preliminary economic assessment.”

Gold mineralization extensions were also met outside the resource and pit, which the company believe has the potential to continue to grow the mineral resource and to expand the current mine life of the project.

The latest assay results covered 4,248.50 metres of drilling, and additional drilling is being conducted on 50-metre centres as step-outs and infill of previous drill holes.

Moneta Gold Inc. (ME) is down 1.72 per cent and is trading at $1.42 per share as of 3:21 p.m. EST.
