US Critical Metals (USCM) has appointed James Hedrick as President and Peter Mejstrick as Head of Exploration of U.S. Rare Elements Corp.

Hedrick was formerly the rare earths commodity specialist for the U.S. Geological Survey and brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts relating to all elements of the rare earth supply chain within the United States. 

Mejstrick is a geologist with significant field and operational experience in the state of Montana, where he resides.

The company’s goal is to appoint these two to help advance the Sheep Creek Rare Earth Project in Montana.

In addition to the appointments, Hedrick will be supporting USCM in an advisory capacity to further inform interested parties about the merits of Sheep Creek and rare earth elements.

James Hedrick is currently President of Materials Corp. and was formerly the rare earths commodity specialist at the USGS in Reston, Virginia and a government employee in related fields for 32 years.

Hedrick’s schooling consists of graduating from James Madison University with B.S. degrees in Geology and General Science and did graduate study at North Carolina State University.

While Peter Mejstrick received his B.A. degree from Bowdoin College, an M.S. in Geology from the University of Montana and the Chief Geologist of Materials Corp.

He also attended the University of British Columbia for his post-graduate studies.

As for the company’s main project, Sheep Creek is located in Ravalli County, southwest Montana.

Dikes in the area are valuable for their contain light rare earth elements and other strategic metals.

USCM is focused on mining projects to further secure the U.S. supply of critical metals and rare earth elements essential to fueling the new age economy.

U.S. Critical Metals (USCM) is up 6.45 per cent, trading at C$0.33 at 12:53 pm EST.
