Kraken Robotics (PNG) has received contracts from two customers totalling $1.1 million for its AquaPix Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS).

Deliveries will go to the UK and Singapore for integration onto small-man portable Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

This represents Kraken’s first sale in Singapore and is reflective of our growing value proposition in the defence market.

Kraken’s AquaPix is an off-the-shelf, configurable SAS that delivers higher resolution, range, and area coverage rates over traditional Side Scan Sonar systems, expanding the capabilities of naval, scientific, and commercial applications.

Headquartered in Newfoundland, Kraken Robotics is a marine technology company offering software-centric sensors, subsea batteries and thrusters, and underwater robotic systems.

Kraken Robotics Inc. (PNG) opened trading at C$0.39.
