Jourdan (JOR) has appointed Roger Lemaitre as its VP and Head of Mining and announced the first of 32 Li2O drillhole assays from the Vallée Project.

The results stem from the 6,585 m Summer-Fall 2022 drilling campaign on the project in Quebec.

Roger Lemaitre is an engineer and geologist with more than 30 years of professional experience.

The drilling campaign focused on the eastern and southeastern extensions of a known pegmatite swarm in search of lithium-bearing spodumene minerals.

Most of the 32 holes intersected a new spodumene-bearing pegmatite swarm at a previously underexplored eastern extension.

The results will contribute to establishing an initial mineral resource estimate at Vallée.

Vallée is immediately east of North American Lithium’s lithium mine, which expects to enter production in April 2023.

Executive Chairman Andreas Rompel joined Sabrina Cuthbert to contextualize the results.
