The discovery was on the company’s Larocque East property in the Eastern Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan.

The notable hole (LE20-30) was drilled in the property’s Hurricane zone to see if the mine’s operations could be expanded to the west. It intersected strong radioactivity averaging greater than 14,000 CPS around 330-335m.

The release noted that the drill hole also suggested additional targets could be located to the south of the section.

Samples have been sent for analysis and the assay results are expected within three to four weeks.

Steve Blower, Vice President of Exploration at IsoEnergy Ltd., stated, “I’m pleased that we’ve been able to extend the Hurricane zone with the first drill hole of the winter program. “

He went on to say that infill drilling will continue at the Hurricane Zone, while the company eagerly awaits the results from the first drill hole.
