International Prospect Ventures (IZZ) has increase the size of its land package in Western Australia.
The two new tenements were acquired 100 percent via staking in the Pilbara Craton of Western Australia.
The two new tenements are located 1.7 kilometres west and 185 kilometres south-southeast, respectively, of the company’s Mosquito Creek Basin tenements.
The acquisition brings the Quebec-based mineral exploration company’s total land holdings in Western Australia to 14,073 hectares.
Annual work requirements are AUD $30,000 for both land packages.
One of the tenements will be explored for gold, base metals and lithium.
The second will be explored for gold and base metals.
There are numerous historical Fe, Mn, Cu, and Au occurrences in the region.
“Now that the Government of Western Australia has relaxed its border entry requirements originally imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has essentially opened WA back for up to all investment, the Company intends to get on with its exploration plans for its eastern Pilbara tenements,” said President and CEO Martin Walter.
International Prospect Ventures is down 7.14 percent, trading at $0.13 at 11:18 a.m. ET.
