Infinity Stone (GEMS) has completed its fall drill program at the Rockstone Graphite project.

The company completed drilling four holes, RS-22-01, RS-22-02, RS-22-03, and RS-22-04, totalling 800 metres. The initial goal of the program was to confirm the initial discovery GC-12-01 discovery hole, which intercepted 25 per cent Cg over 24 metres.

The total known strike length of the Rockstone graphitic unit is now 80 metres and remains open along strike. The company intends to conduct downhole geophysics alongside additional drilling to gain a further understanding of structure.  Early observations suggest that the massive sulphide horizon represents volcanogenic massive sulfide ore (VMS)-type mineralization.

Graphitic Intervals:

Drillhole From (m) To (m) Interval (m)
RS-22-03 52.5 61.2 8.7
RS-22-03 109.5 137.0 27.5
RS-22-03 139.1 142.4 3.3
RS-22-03 156.5 162.5 6.0

Infinity Stone’s CEO, Zayn Kalyan, stated that with visible graphite intercepts in all four holes, the team has a better understanding of the graphitic structure and will be better able to determine next steps in the exploration of this prospective project.

“Following the anticipated return of core assays, our intended next steps will be to conduct downhole geophysics, with the intention to do further drilling thereafter. Graphite is continually gaining more recognition as a key material in the production of lithium-ion battery anodes. We believe that supply will continue to tighten, particularly in the face of the seasonal decline in production in China.”

The Rockstone Graphite Project is located 45 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Infinity Stone’s mission is to be a diversified, single-source supplier of critical energy metals being used in the clean energy revolution. Infinity Stone is meeting demand from battery and wind turbine manufacturers, nuclear and hydrogen energy producers, and energy metals by acquiring a 100 per cent interest in critical mineral deposits and occurrences in stable, mining-friendly jurisdictions.

Infinity Stone Ventures Corp. (GEMS) was up 4.08 per cent, trading at C$0.25 per share as of 10:30 am ET.
