Hill Street (HILL) has signed a multi-year DehydraTECH licensing deal with Attitude Wellness.

Dehydr8, Hill Street’s licensee of the DehydraTECH cannabis delivery system, entered into the licensing deal with Attitude – doing business as Lume Cannabis – which is Michigan’s top vertically integrated cannabis operator and the largest single-state cannabis operator in the U.S.

DehydraTECH, developed by Lexaria Bioscience, improves the way active pharmaceutical ingredients enter the bloodstream by promoting more effective oral delivery. It increases bio-absorption with cannabinoids by as much as 27x compared to standard industry formulations.

The deal, which also involves related services to be provided by Dehydr8, will power a range of THC-infused products by Lume with large-scale production expected in short order.

Hill Street acquired usage rights to DehydraTECH in December 2020.

“Developing this new relationship and commercial business model with Lume will create a step-change in the availability of DehydraTECH-powered products for cannabis consumers in Michigan, as Lume has 31 dispensaries operating across the state,” stated Craig Binkley, Hill Street’s CEO.

“We expect a similar pattern of success for Hill Street in Illinois and Massachusetts following the February 2022 expansion of the Dehydr8 licensing relationship to those states,” he added.

Hill Street Beverage Company is a non-alcoholic beverage and cannabis solutions company.

Hill Street (HILL) is unchanged trading at $0.035 per share as of 9:48 am EST.
