High Tide (HITI) is opening its 152nd Canna Cabana store in Canada and 76th store in Alberta.

The store, located in Edmonton’s Oliver neighborhood, will sell recreational cannabis products in close proximity to MacEwan University, a national grocery chain, discount clothing retailers, restaurants and the Rogers Place stadium.

The company expects a positive impact on Oliver’s economy, with Alberta being its largest brick-and-mortar retail footprint and Alberta Canna Cabana stores generating more than twice the revenue than the provincial average.

High Tide is Canada’s largest non-franchised cannabis retail chain. Its operations are diversified and fully integrated across all components of cannabis, including brick-and-mortar retail, retail innovation, e-commerce platforms, CBD, wholesale distribution, and licensing.

The company has been recognized as one of Canada’s top growing companies and ranked number one in the retail category on the Financial Times list of Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies for 2023.
