H2O Innovation (HEO) has won two new projects and renewed $3.3 million in operation and maintenance contracts in Vermont.

The renewed contracts and new projects at treatment plants in the US and Canada bring the company’s operations and maintenance backlog to $63.5 million.
The first new project is for the operation, maintenance, and management of a water treatment system in Texas. The second will involve H2O’s operation and management of an effluent treatment facility at a large agri-food processing plant in Calgary.
The Calgary project is now the company’s largest membrane bioreactor in North America, treating over 4,000 m3/day of high strength industrial effluent.
Gregory Madden, chief strategy officer of H2O Innovation, commented,
“We are very excited to see continued growth for the O&M business pillar, especially into the industrial sector in Western Canada. The contract renewals show a commitment to the H2O Innovation Playbook concept that we win by creating value and delighting our customers.
“We have great relationship with our customers which is shown in our industry leading contract renewal rates. In Western Canada, we started with our first O&M contract in the region only three years ago, and we are now operating more than 15 facilities,” he concluded.
The renewed municipal operation and maintenance contracts are all located in Vermont. The first one was renewed for an additional five years plus seven months. The second and third contracts were each extended for five years, and the fourth was renewed for an additional year, until March 2022.
H2O Innovation is a Canadian company engaged in providing water treatment solutions based on membrane filtration technology for municipal, energy, and natural resources end-users.
