good natured (GDNP) is announcing new distribution through Hawaii’s Sustainable Island Products.

Sustainable Island Products is the state’s primary distributor of compostable packaging products.

good natured’s BPI-certified compostable products are up to 99-per-cent plant-based and comply with single-use packaging regulations that began across many counties in Hawaii in 2022.

The regulations have led to a rise in demand for alternatives to fossil-fuel-based packaging.

The partnership is an opportunity for the companies to expand their customer base in Hawaii, specifically through a new range of customers in the grocery segment backed by good natured’s diversified offerings.

“We want to make it easy and affordable for businesses in Hawaii to use the highest percentage of plant-based packaging for everyday food items,” stated Paul Antoniadis, CEO of good natured.

“Working with Sustainable Island Products enables us to offer our broad assortment of plant-based products in a way that’s more efficient for businesses in the Islands of Hawaii, who are taking steps to protect the environment as they work toward their sustainability goals,” he added.

good natured offers over 400 plant-based products and services.

good natured Products (GDNP) opened with a gain of 1.96 per cent, trading at $0.26 per share.
