Managing Director of Golden Rim (ASX:GMR) Craig Mackay spoke with The Market Herald at PDAC 2022.

The company acquired a new project last year during the Covid pandemic. It initially belonged to Newmont.

Over the last 12 months they’ve done a lot of drilling at the New Kada project seeing a million ounces of gold. “With a lot more to come,” says Mackay. They’ve only gone about 1km, which leaves 14km of mineralization to be tested.

Mackay says funding is always a challenge, regardless they’ve just done a fundraising with a AU$5 Million dollar outcome. (via private placement)

In order to raise capital, they’re looking to sell some of their other projects like the Chilean Paguanta.

Mackay is shopping for a Canadian buyer. They’re hoping to find one this week and what better place than PDAC 2022?
