CBD Global Sciences (CBDN) has reported a significant increase in demand for its RAP SNACKS products following its launch.

The success of the launch has prompted an exclusive distribution agreement.

The company’s subsidiary, Legacy Distribution Group, focuses on introducing CBD and non-CBD product lines to consumers in Colorado. RAP SNACKS was founded in 1994 by James Lindsay to create a synergy between well-known and up and coming hip hop artists.

The snack bags are designed with an artistic rendition of the hip-hop artist, each having its own individual flavour. A QR code on the bag allows the consumer to get a special message from the depicted artist. Previous artists featured included Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Meek Mill, Yung Joc, Pretty Willie, Ms. Toi, Mack 10, and Pastor Troy.

Global Sciences stated its subsidiary had implemented an exclusive distribution agreement with RAP SNACKS for its Colorado and Wyoming territories. Towards the end of 2021 through to the first quarter of 2022, Global Sciences rolled the new product out to a test market with less than 5.00 per cent of the 6,000 stores.

The company stated the sales resulted in immediate reorders for the new product, being valued at over $93,000.00. As a result, Global Sciences decided to move from the test market to mass distribution in all the stores which has already begun and is expected to be complete by the end of this year.

CBD Global Sciences Inc. (CBDN) is up 28.00 per cent trading at 0.16 per share as of 1:24 p.m. ET.
